Business Computing BSc
This interdisciplinary degree blends the breadth of Information Technologies, (electronic offices and databases, programming, and the internet), with the fundamental areas of Business, (management marketing, accounting and management economics, as well as law). Graduates More Help will possess the knowledge and abilities to analyze information requirements and comprehend the business processes in order to design information systems.
Through a combination of theory and practical experience You’ll acquire the ability to intuitively determine a dynamic process that allows information delivery systems to fulfil their functions within an organization. You’ll also be taught to recognise that a business is an organisation that is constantly evolving and changing and its information systems must adapt to these changes and the ever-changing requirements and demands of users.
You’ll build your IT and computing skills in your second year with workshops and project work. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from our academics and take part in an internship where you will put your new skills in practice.
Our curriculum is founded on the latest technological advancements, and we focus on the application of new technologies in business. You can select from a range of subjects, including Big Data Analytics and Informatics Strategy and Management, as in e-Business Technology.
